Predicting the future

The future eventually becomes the present as time goes by. Everything that you dream of will turn into a reality.

I haven't think much about the future, in fact when my think of it I feel dizzy. Still I am unsure on my future since I don't want to predict first and ended up losing my prediction when the time comes.

But still, when I am still a kid or a child even up until now, I dream of becoming a successful, powerful and rich women 10 years from now. I mean who doesn't want that? Everyone always dreams to become rich and powerful when they grow-up right? And have a family of course, let's see a daughter and a son also a nice and kind husband. Um. The looks of him must be moderate, not too handsome and not to tall. The intelligence, must be my equality. Its not I don't like morns and idiots but what would to my kids. haha. Just kidding.

As for my house, it must a Japanese style house. You know like the ones you see on the television with a spacious garden. Must be dreaming to much huh? But don't they always say, if you dream, always dream big.

Change It Starts with me

Cause these things will change, just another line in the song change of Taylor Swift. People always change of the good of humanity, themselves or for their own selfishness. Everything changes, either your physical aspect, your moral, or spirituality it goes beyond your control.

We change for the people we love, for our future. But sometimes we tend to forget the most important thing of all, that we cannot change the people around us but we must tend to adopt our selves or change ourselves for the people we love the most.

The future is inevitable. Everything is planned according to your fate but not your destiny. Mostly people tend to mistook fate and destiny as the same thing but destiny can be changed. When someone calls you a loser and you will be forever loser. Gimme a break. Defeat him/her on his/her face and when he asked why, answer him or her, because you called me a loser. I can change and be my best if I wanted to for my own good. But I'll change for the sake of friends and people around me. I'll show them that I can do my best if I want to.

Kannawidan

Trade Fairs, Fashion Shows, Pageants and contests.. All of these belong into a festival, the Kannawidan Festival.

At the month of February, just a day after the Longganisa Festival, the Ilocos Festival also known as the Kannawidan Festival is held. Saniata or Ms. Ilocos is one of the most anticipated event in this festival.

The trade fair in this festival displays the different exquisite products of the the different localities and municipalities in Ilocos. Overall, this year's festival is more expensive than the last year's event due to the decorations etc.

A Feast in Honor of St. Paul

Vigan City Fiesta is held at the dates of January 25 and May 5. Usually it is the time to celebrate and have fun with our relatives and friends. But not only that it is also the time that Biguenos exert there religious beliefs into a full faith.

The January 25 date is a day to celebrate the conversion of St. Paul. St. Paul is the patron saint of Vigan and its church is located at the heart of the city. Paul's conversion can be dated to by his reference to it in one of his letters. According to the Acts of the Apostles, his conversion (or metanoia) took place on the road to Damascus where he experienced a vision of the resurrected Jesus after which he was temporarily blinded.

Also in this day, The Longganisa Festival is being held. Street dances, lots f establishments where you can buy foods and other programs to entertain the people.

Reflection

Winter will end next month. Spring will soon take over the seasons. New spring blossoms and a new life shall be reborn. Magnificent views and also lots of festivals will happen. Here in Philippines, us Filipinos, don't change seasons instead we change and learn something everyday.

This grading I learned about an hypertext mark-up language and how to make a website using this html. Also I learned it's not easy to make web pages. You have to break a sweat and sleep late at night to make one page and tag them. There are also revisions. And you need patience. And lose your famous temper. I have experience them all so believe me if you are like me, might as well try these advices. But it was worth the try, there lots of challenges aka failures. HAHA. It is the word to cover up the word failures. After the tears and sweat that you shed and broke, you'll see the fruits of your labor.

And by the way, I used Microsoft Frontpage.

Christmas

This season is so jolly... or Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells...

Full of singing voices and jolly people came singing in front of our homes telling that Christmas is only days away. Gathering around the supermarket, buying foods for Christmas Eve is a common scene.

But what is the true essence of Christmas? Is it the exquisite foods, extravagant gifts or the money that you'll receive from your godparents? Or is it Santa who flew with eight reindeer and will slide down in your chimney?

Majority of your answers will be NO or MAYBE. I went to church on Christmas Eve and found it interesting that the church was full and there are only few vacant sits.Mostly there were outside enduring the cold temperature. Compared to those who attended the mass last year, the population has reduced.

As the church always say, coming to church, praying and forgiving are the essence of Christmas.

Oh Me

Another year has passed. New Year Resolutions are being made. Oh Dear. Oh Dear. What in the world happen? I wrote some but still I haven't yet started following them. I guess its just the same old me.

Mom and Dad along with my other relatives kept on bragging that they will do something new this year. The same with my friends. I guess I am the only one who doesn't even think about changing myself. Except my obsession of sweet things and exercise more since I gained weight last year. Darn. I really want my old body back. I got taller though so I think it doesn't made any difference at all. LOL.

How bout that? Same ol' me. Bet you would say, what's the use of making her New Year Resolutions if she doesn't change her attitude. Well, I really didn't make one and I grew tired of those promises which are eventually made to be broken.

How bout you? Tell me, how you spent your New Year and your resolutions.

V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N

In the span of the nine days vacation also called as a semester break, students are finally able to take a breather from a 5 months full of hectic days of work in school.

This time I took my vacation for granted. I slept whenever I wanted to, watch random television shows, surf random websites and even go baking and exploring in the midst of noon even though the temperature ranges from 35 C to 36 C. But mostly I stayed at home, lazily staring at the empty space and waiting for my relatives to arrive anytime of the week.

I rarely enjoy vacation now. I think I am just waiting it end and hoping something good and fun will happen.

Alas. The third day before my vacation is going to end, an interesting event happened. My relatives have actually arrived. I was hoping the vacation will never end.

But every good things must come into an end. The vacation isn't as boring as it seems. I think I enjoyed it as much as somebody would if he/she were in my heels.

A new Chapter

Time goes by as they always say. Reminiscing the old times has been one of our habits especially if something interesting has happened to us.

My second grading period has come to an end already and now I am flipping one of the pages in the book a new chapter in my school days.

I learned something new this time and I do hope that I can apply it in the future. The writing of blogs were enjoyable even creating the exercises.

I do hope that I will have loads of fun this third grading period.

Breaking Barriers through English

English is one of the most spoken language in the world. It has over a billion speakers in the whole world.
As many have seen in the international news the hostage taking at the Quirino Grandstand had made it way on other people's hearts. Few of them had said "The Filipino police doesn't have any training at all." A mistake of one is the mistake of all Filipinos.
And how is this feud dispatched?
A simple answer, by means of communicating.English has been the bridge in solving the problem of our nation and the Hongkong government. Language is not a barrier.

My Teacher, My Hero

The heroes that I've known long ago are the persons that shed blood and protect people from fiasco and disasters. But I was wrong, the ordinary people that surrounds me are also called heroes. They might not shed blood or become martyrs themselves but in a little way they are able to touch one's life.

Teachers are one of the best examples of heroes. The best thing that they are able to touch the student's heart through teaching. The things that they teach are the things that people apply in their daily tasks. An accountant can never finish the course of accountancy if the teachers are not there. They become our friends, mentors and second parents. They always try to understand us and comfort us when we are in grief and sad times.

Our teachers are the best among the heroes. Nowadays the younger generation neglect the teaching course and switch instead to other course that are demands in abroad.

Pregnancy as they say is one of blissful moments in a woman's life. Picturing the baby in the womb of the mother through ultrasound makes them grin up to the ear. Excitement occurs throughout the nine months of pregnancy. Determining the gender and choosing for the appropriate name for the baby are one of the basic necessities. But we must always be reminded that pregnant should also eat nutritious but scrumptious foods in order to maintain the proper weight for babies inside their wombs. They should eat foods (fruits and vegetables) rich in vitamins and iron. The most common disease of pregnant women is which is caused by the lack of iron. They should be careful in things they do, eat and drink. They should avoid smoking or taking drugs because it might cause death or abnormality to the baby.

The theme for the Nutrition Month promotes health and wellness of the pregnant women and their baby. Mainly because one of the main problems in our world is the low mortality of pregnant women and their babies. They die mainly because of malnutrition or obesity plus the struggle of giving birth. Let us support the Nutrition month and theme to help spread the importance of good nutrition to all the mothers in the world and their babies.
